Ryan Maxfield

Ryan Maxfield (Founder & CEO) – Ryan is a lifelong aviator and commercial pilot who began flying at the age of 15. Prior to founding Vantage Aviation, Ryan was a founding member of the Jet Access Group and acted in the capacity of Chief Revenue Officer and Partner. His entrepreneurial drive and strong business and sales acumen quickly established Jet Access as a preferred FBO chain, charter operator, 145-repair station, and premier flight training schools. Before entering the world of private aviation, he held multiple roles in aviation administration including Chief Airport Inspector for the state of Indiana and Airfield/Operations Manager for the Indianapolis Airport Authority. Ryan holds a BS from Indiana State University with double majors in Professional Flight Technology and Aviation Administration. Ryan also holds an MBA from the University of Indianapolis and is a Certified Member of the American Association of Airport Executives. In 2017 Ryan was named 40 under 40 by Airport Business Magazine.

    He served as the Co-Chair for NATA’s Aviation Business Committee and is an active board member for the Dream Center Indianapolis; a non-profit organization that addresses homelessness and poverty-stricken families in central Indiana. Ryan holds a Commercial Pilots License with multi-engine, instrument, and jet ratings. Ryan’s full-time residence is in Fishers Indiana (NE suburb of Indianapolis) where he lives with his wife and four children.

Kyle Cassidy

Kyle Cassidy (COO & Partner) – Before joining Vantage Aviation, Kyle was the Director of Operations at ACI Jet, located at John Wayne Orange County Airport. ACI Jet was the busiest FBO in the country in 2021. Kyle's role involved managing various departments such as HR, Accounting, and Procurement for the FBO division, which consisted of three FBOs in California. The division had over 190 employees and generated annual revenues of $40 million+.

Kyle also oversaw IT and Business Systems for the entire company, which employed over 350 people and operated globally around the clock. In terms of accounting and financial management, Kyle successfully increased revenues across all locations and oversaw the leasing transition of over 300 properties after acquiring a premium 35-year lease at John Wayne Orange County Airport. Kyle played a crucial role in securing the original ground lease in 2017 beating out Signature Flight Support and subsequently beat out Atlantic Aviation for the 2021 30 acre leasehold.

  • Prior to ACI, Kyle served as the Director of Operations at Theory R Properties, a family real estate office based in Newport Beach, CA. Theory R Properties owned assets worth over $200 million+ across California and Arizona. In this role, Kyle acted as owners rep and worked closely with both internal and external property managers. He oversaw all budgeting and forecasting including special projects for tenant improvements and ground-up construction projects.
